Access to Les Menuires by car
The resort of Les Menuires is close to the town of Moûtiers, situated in the department of Savoie, in the Northern Alps. It takes 2h30 from Lyon, 1h40 from Grenoble and 1h20 from Chambéry.
Once you reach Moûtiers, you have just a 27km drive on mountain roads. The road is made safe with regular winter maintenance. You should, however, equip your car with snow tyres, snow chains or sleeves.
When you arrive at the resort, in most cases you can drop off passengers and luggage outside your accommodation. Once you have unloaded you must park your vehicle in one of the car parks. You can then let your car rest throughout your holiday and use the free shuttle buses that run from district to district and between the resorts.
