Renting in Longefoy: what you need to know
The village
Longefoy is a Savoyard village with red-tiled roofs, with the La Superga chapel overlooking the village from its hill. There you will find gîtes, a hotel-bar-restaurant and a café-grocery-restaurant. When renting in Longefoy, you ski at Plagne Montalbert, a few kilometres away, at around 1,350 metres of altitude.
The hamlet is peaceful, with a bread oven that is sometimes lit and crinchin, a tasty local aniseed brioche.
With children, we recommend planning your days on the Montalbert side: the ESF Montalbert gives lessons there, the Club Piou-Piou welcomes the youngest and the Zone Débutants Gentil is used for first turns. Good skiers go up to the La Plagne ski area by the Montalbert gondola. Without skis, the Chemin du Patrimoine and the Le Bois snowshoe trail link Montalbert to Longefoy.
