The apartment is very well located; we were in Guisane 2, which is much better than Guisane for access to the ski lockers and the entrance to the building, which is from the back or the front, making it very practical unlike Guisane. The apartment itself is acceptable, but it was really dirty upon our arrival. Hair and fur everywhere on the floor, nails, dust, and more. Towels and bedding are extra, which is surprising in 2026. There is no oven, just a combined microwave and grill, which is not sufficient at all. An oven is essential. Having only one frying pan for a whole family is also inconceivable. There is no washing machine either, which is inconvenient when you have young children. Aside from that, the location is great, right at the foot of the Prorel cable car, and the residence is nice and relatively quiet.

RELAIS DE LA GUISANE

Residence: 5 minute walk from the Prorel cable car, this residence will undoubtedly seduce you. You will love being there in the evening after a long day of skiing. A few hundred meters from the city center, guests can easily discover the historic citycenter of Briançon with its art galleries, cafes, restaurants ...

About the resort - Serre Chevalier ski area

The ski area

Serre Chevalier was the first ski area in the world to generate its own electricity from all three renewable sources at once: hydro power drawn from its snowmaking pipes, solar panels and micro wind turbines. Running since autumn 2019, the scheme now covers thirty-four percent of the area's annual consumption. The skiing itself amounts to 250 kilometres over 82 pistes and 58 lifts, between 1,200 and 2,800 metres, spread across four bases: Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Le Monêtier-les-Bains. Briançon is the highest town in France and its Vauban fortifications are UNESCO-listed, which makes this the rare large French area attached to a working town rather than a purpose-built resort. The Écrins National Park begins at its edge.
