The accommodation was supposedly larger by a little bit compared to the other accommodation we stayed at last year on the 12th floor. The layout doesn't work for 2 parents and 2 kids. As you get inside, it's immediately narrow as on the left it's the bathroom door and on the right, coat hangers and a large locker. Then the wardrobes. You continue further down, it's a narrow galley style kitchen with the sink/cooking stuff on left side and the units/drawers/shelves on right side. Two people cannot stand side by side there comfortably. Only one person can use the kitchen comfortably. We felt squashed immediately as soon as we stepped into the apartment. Then after that, it's the \bedroom\. It's supposedly a separate bedroom because there are two wall sliding doors which shut off the kitchen and living room. The wall-door that shuts off kitchen is actually the \wardrobe\. Inside, you can store whatever u want including clothes. The clothes drying rack is in there. I had NO idea that the wardrobe was there until I moved the wall-door which I thought closed off the kitchen only. It's a bit of a Harry Potter style wardrobe. You wouldn't know there is a wardrobe as there is no handle. The wall looks the same all over except it's a door. Bed is ok. A trunkle bed opens out from underneath that bed. The lounge has 2 sofa beds. Again they r OK. More suitable for children. I slept on it with my 2 little girls. Gave me a bad back unfortunately. My girls had no problems sleeping on the sofa bed. Sofa beds had too many cushions big and small. Must have been about 15 cushions! The dining table is painted to look \stressed\ which is fashionable I suppose but it just looked old and worn out. You can see the wood through the white paint. I recommend the owner give it a good sanding, paint it and then varnish it. Then it will look clean. TV is a bit small. It is not a smart TV so couldn't use Netflix on it. No WiFi either. My girls were bored in the evenings and they couldn't watch films. We had to give them our ipads and use our mobile data. I love cooking but the kitchen let me down. I did not have any desire to use the hob. It was used once to boil pasta. I didn't use the oven/grill machine thing and only used microwave once to warm up the take away pizza. The owner is advised to update the kitchen to 2025 standards. For the price I paid for a week, well..... don't know if it's worth it. The other accommodation on 12th floor had a better kitchen and I cooked alot more there and it was 120 euros cheaper. I would advise that the owner puts the entire kitchen Into the lounge area, and put a butterfly table that can open up or close down (attached to wall). And one sofa bed only. The bedroom area can have bunk beds with a trunkle bed underneath the bottom bed. In the kitchen area, where the sink is, it is advised to turn that into wardrobes. Then the current wardrobes- advised to get rid of them. Then there is more space in the apartment. And 4 people can use it more comfortably. This is ok for a couple or a group of young people aged 20 years old who are there to sleep, ski and party outside. Just my honest opinion and feelings. I am a host of 3 Airbnb properties in Cyprus and am currently renovating my home in UK so space and layout is important to me. If you get a chance to ski in Les Arcs 1800, Have fun! Go shred those slopes! Xxx

About the resort - Les Arcs - Peisey-Vallandry ski area

Ski area

One run here drops 2,026 vertical metres. From the Aiguille Rouge at 3,226 metres down to the village of Villaroger, seven kilometres of piste make up one of the longest continuous descents in Europe. Around it, Les Arcs - Peisey-Vallandry spreads 200 kilometres of runs across seven bases, from Arc 1600 through to Peisey-Vallandry and Villaroger, with seventy percent of the terrain lying above 2,000 metres. In 2023 it became the first ski area in Europe certified B Corp, and it also holds the Flocon Vert label; its operator reports cutting carbon emissions by eighty percent since 2006. The Vanoise Express cable car links it westward to La Plagne, forming Paradiski.

Le domaine relié

France's third-largest ski area, Paradiski links La Plagne with Les Arcs - Peisey-Vallandry across 425 kilometres of connected runs. Crossing between the two sides takes four minutes aboard the Vanoise Express, a double-decker cable car that spans the valley without a single pylon. Terrain rises from 1,250 to 3,250 metres, and with 70% of it sitting above 2,000 metres, snow cover holds reliably from December into April. The 130 lifts reach everything from the tree-lined slopes of Montchavin, Les Coches and Montalbert to the long high-altitude descents off the Aiguille Rouge.
