Chalet POMME DE PIN: comfortable chalet of 90m2, with neat and warm decoration, sleeping 8. On the edge of the piste, just next to the nursery slope and dedicated sledding slope. Ideal for families – you can watch your children ski or sled from the large balcony and there are boardgames, AppleTV and a DVD player. Ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen with dining area: ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee maker. Pleasant living room with underfloor heating and a log fire, opening onto a large balcony of 18 m² looking down the valley. Television, DVD and AppleTV in lounge. Separate toilets. Lower floor: Bedroom 1 en suite: 2 twin beds (75x190), shower and WC. Bedroom 2: 2 twin beds (75x190). Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds (75x190). Sauna. Separate bathroom with shower and WC. Very beautiful, comfortable, and bright chalet. A very decent level of equipment. A few issues without real consequences (mainly defective heating in one bedroom) that the on-site team tried to address as best as they could. However, they could have been anticipated with a prior inspection. Excellent support from the reception staff.

Very satisfied with the location near the slopes and the fact that there is no terrace above creating a direct view, as well as the separate toilet upstairs, but the sauna is out of order, there is no freezer, the furniture is a bit mismatched, and there is no decor. The kitchen and dining area is very cramped.

The house is pleasant, bright, and very well located. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well arranged, the beds are very comfortable; however, a light should be added to the bathroom mirror upstairs because it is too dark. The living room is comfortable and well furnished. It is the kitchen space that is not suitable for 8 people, as it is very narrow. Although there are enough plates and cutlery, the same cannot be said for the kitchen utensils. There are very few pans, knives, and dishes for fruits, salads, etc. We still had a wonderful stay; thank you very much.

CASEBLANCHE

The lovely hamlet of Caseblanche with its high-end chalets (sleeping 6 to 16) and its stunning views is 50m from the gondola, and right next the run coming down from the 3 Valleys. On spot you will find a ski rental and a lovely bistro-restaurant.

About the resort - Les Menuires ski area

The ski area

Reaching the top of the Pointe de la Masse once meant twenty-five minutes and three separate lifts. Since 2022 a single gondola does it in under eight, which changed the way Les Menuires skis: the 2,804-metre summit takes the morning sun while the Mont de la Chambre sector opposite holds the afternoon light. The resort's own sector covers 160 kilometres across 81 pistes and 30 lifts, running from 1,450 to 2,850 metres and connecting into the wider Three Valleys. Eighty-five percent of the terrain sits above 1,800 metres, and just over half of it is covered by snowmaking. The four-kilometre Roc'n Bob toboggan run drops back towards the village after the lifts close.

Six hundred kilometres of linked pistes make the Three Valleys the largest ski area in the world, spread across 10,500 hectares and seven resorts: Courchevel, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Val Thorens and Orelle.
