Nicely decorated and very well equipped apartment, including an entrance with storage closet, a bathroom, and a kitchenette with 2 electric hotplates, Senséo coffee machine + filter coffee maker, and a mini fridge. The living room is equipped with a double sofa bed (130x190 cm), a table for 5, a flat-screen TV, microwave and mini oven, toaster, kettle, raclette set, and fondue set. The bathroom has a bathtub, a sink, and a toilet. The bedroom has a double bed (140x190 cm) and a mezzanine bed (90x190 cm). Accommodation is equipped with duvets; please bring duvet covers. Access to the heated swimming pool is free during your stay (over 3 years old). Linen and final cleaning are extra. Free Wi-Fi available in the building. Highlights: Ski-in and ski-out access. Ski locker located on the ground floor. Residence close to supermarket, deli, and children’s playground in front of the building. FREE WIFI. Quite a cramped apartment with no real kitchen area, lack of worktop. A hot plate above the fridge in the hallway with a makeshift shelf to place the drying rack to the left of the sink. The entrance cupboards are cluttered with appliances that had to be emptied to use the shelves and store clothes. Otherwise, there is a severe shortage of parking for Saturday arrivals. The Vanguard building has an old design with the charm of a social housing project, and the studio's size no longer meets current expectations. The shopping gallery is filled with stairs, making it impractical for those with mobility difficulties. The Vanguard is lower than the main Sybelle Express lift, requiring users to take a lower chairlift or leave their skis in a shop at the snow front. There is a slow connection between the arrival of the Sybelle Express and the La Toussuire station, involving two consecutive surface lifts with an excessively long wait.

SITUATION: This residence is located at the foot of the slopes, with a kindergarten right across, and a caterer and supermarket just a few steps away in the shopping arcade. Childcare is 50 m away. ESF is 200 m away. FACILITIES: Guardian, 4 elevators, ski locker, outdoor parking

About Les Sybelles

The linked ski area

The Pointe de l'Ouillon, at 2,431 metres, is what holds Les Sybelles together: lifts climb to this one summit from four separate directions, which makes it the junction through which every village connects to the others. The area links five resorts (La Toussuire, Le Corbier, Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, Saint-Jean-d'Arves and Les Bottières) across more than 275 kilometres of piste served by 61 lifts, topping out at 2,620 metres on the Perrons de Saint-Sorlin. Set in the Maurienne valley within sight of the Aiguilles d'Arves, it favours beginners and improving skiers, since most of its distance is graded blue. It remains the quietest of the large linked areas in France.
