Ski Holiday Lac - Lavachet

In Le Lavachet, Tignes le Lac, our rentals are at around 2,100 metres, in a family-friendly, quiet and sunny neighbourhood, a few minutes from Val Claret.

There is a supermarket, a bakery and sports shops on site, and the lifts can be reached from the neighbourhood itself. At 2100b, the shops are less than 20 m from the residence.

We recommend Le Lavachet to families who want to sleep in peace, away from the bustle of Val Claret. Beginners have the Lavachet drag lift and green run on site; those who don't ski can reach Le Lac or Val Claret on the free shuttles.

From Le Lavachet, the Chaudannes and Paquis chairlifts give access to the neighbourhood's slopes, then the Tignes - Val d’Isère link opens up the shared ski area. The Tignes ski area has 150 km of runs, between 1,550 and 3,450 metres of altitude.

For first descents, we recommend the free Lavachet drag lift and the Lavachet green run, gentle and very well suited to beginners. The green and blue runs of Le Lavachet and Le Lac then take over. For lessons, there is a ski school in the neighbourhood and several others in Tignes le Lac. To sleep near the lessons, the “Near ski school” filter helps: some accommodation at Chalet Neve is 100 m from the ski school.

The Henry blue run, accessible from the Paquis chairlift, is wide and easy: it links Le Lavachet to Val Claret. For more confident skiers, the Tignes ski area has 19 red runs and 21 black runs.

In summer, the Lavachet activity base is right next to the Le Lavachet bus stop, the terminus of the Tignes 2100 circuit. It offers tennis, rifle shooting and pétanque.

With children, we recommend the trampolines and games at this activity base. For skiing, the resort's ski schools welcome them.

In summer, three lifts open to pedestrians, including Palafour, to reach the starting points of high-altitude hikes. In winter, the resort's ski schools and guides organise snowshoe outings. Without skiing, you can go up to the summit of Tovière by gondola: the view takes in the lake and the surrounding mountains. Le Lagon, the aquatic centre and spa of Tignes le Lac, is easily accessible from Le Lavachet.

For ski-in/ski-out, look first at Pontet B and Les Rives: some accommodation there is 10 m from the slopes, and at Les Rives you set off on skis from the foot of the building. Pontet B, a small, quiet residence, is mainly suited to stays for up to 6 people in 2-3 room apartments; at 2100b, you will mainly find 2-3 room apartments and studios for up to 6 people, with some accommodation 50 m from the slopes.

For large groups, we recommend the Hameau de Tovière: our accommodation there goes up to 10 people, in 2-3 room apartments as well as large apartments, with a skier path to the Chaudannes and Paquis chairlifts. Tour du Lac goes up to 9 people, and Chalet Neve, in a small hamlet at the entrance to the resort, to 8, mainly in large apartments.

If you are travelling with a pet, look first at 2100b and Chalet Neve, where almost all our accommodation accepts them, then Home Club, where this is the case for more than half.

The free shuttles link Le Lavachet, Le Lac and Val Claret. The key handover depends on the accommodation: the exact place and opening hours are shown on your voucher.
