Chantel sits on a hillock above Arc 1800: contemporary chalets and residences in wood and stone, with large picture windows. For a rental in Chantel, our apartments are spread across Alpages du Chantel, Saint Bernard and Monarques Edenarc, some 20 m from the slopes, others 50 m.

From the residences and the alpine pasture paths, the view stretches over the valley and Mont-Blanc. On foot, you will find ski equipment rental shops.

We recommend Chantel to those who want to put on their skis close to their accommodation and ski the whole Les Arcs - Peisey-Vallandry ski area.

The Dahu gondola links the residences at the top of Chantel with the centre of Arc 1800 and the snow front, for skiers and pedestrians alike.

From Chantel, you can reach Le Charvet, Les Villards or Charmettoger on skis or by lift, then the Les Arcs slopes.

For your first turns, we recommend the Arc 1800 snow front, where you will find green and blue runs and the ESF beginner lessons.

The Les Arcs - Peisey-Vallandry ski area has 200 km of runs between 800 and 3,250 m, including 36 red and 17 black runs for good skiers. Paradiski links it to La Plagne: 425 km of runs in total.

Depending on the residence, there is an indoor or heated swimming pool; Monarques Edenarc adds a sauna and a fitness room.

The Chemin des Espagnols and the Tour du Golf are two walking routes that start from the top or bottom station of the Dahu, in the Chantel sector.

At the ESF Arc 1800, the youngest have the children's area and Skimômes; group lessons start at 3-4 years old and continue for 5-12-year-olds.

In summer, the Golf du Chantel opens in Arc 1800, with its clubhouse and its course facing the Alps.

Our three addresses in Chantel mainly offer 2-3 room apartments for up to 6 people. The key handover depends on the accommodation: the exact place and opening hours are shown on the voucher.

At Alpages du Chantel, some properties are 20 m from the slopes; depending on the apartment, there is a heated swimming pool. We recommend Saint Bernard when parking matters in your choice: almost all our accommodation there has a space, some apartments are 50 m from the slopes, and the swimming pool is indoor. Monarques Edenarc also has properties 50 m from the slopes, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness room and underground car parks limited to a height of 2.10 m.

By train, get off at Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then take the free inter-resort shuttles to Arc 1800. For Alpages du Chantel and Saint Bernard, they do not stop in the village: you go up on the Dahu. By car, the road climbs from Bourg-Saint-Maurice through the Tarentaise valley; Chantel is on the heights of Arc 1800, in a mostly pedestrian resort.
